This type of person has as its main characteristic the fragility and inability to cope with something or someone that could harm them. Previously, mentioning this aspect made people think of children, older adults or women since they considered themselves more fragile compared to the rest of the people.
Over time, it was determined that not only the people identified above could be classified as vulnerable , since this depends on multiple factors or circumstances that can occur throughout life, such as the loss of a friend or family member, the death of a loved one, a love break, among others.
A person can also be called vulnerable when they present traits and conditions different from those of the rest of society. In this sense, we can refer to cultural, social, economic, political, religious differences, among others.

It should be noted that when dealing with vulnerable animals , reference is made to those animals that by themselves cannot protect themselves against human aggression in nature, or to the case of those animals that are about to become extinct.
From the point of view of technology , we can mention vulnerability the less secure or unprotected aspects of a software, that is, these elements that make up this system can be altered or modified by an external agent and cause damage to the system itself. .
