Examples of vaccines and types
It is important to note that vaccines are also applied to animals, as they are also at risk of suffering from a disease that could take their life and put people who live with that animal / pet at risk. The definition of a vaccine should be understood as a substance composed of a dead microorganism to prevent diseases. In some cases, it can be applied to combat said disease.
Viral vaccines: These are the most common vaccines there are, they are used to counteract different diseases. Something to note is that they have been created with viruses or bacteria to fight disease. The best known are: vaccine for rabies, fever, chickenpox, flu or hepatitis.
Bacterial vaccines: It is obtained from the proteins of the bacteria themselves, this to help counteract all kinds of disease that is necessary for a vaccine-based cure. Your applications can be from one to several times that you have to apply. Examples: tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough, or cholera vaccine.
Biosynthetic vaccines: Although extracts of bacteria or viruses are used, most of their components are synthetic. The main work that is carried out is a combination and modification of the genetics of the bacteria so that this vaccine has results that counteract the disease. Examples: Conjugate HiB, Meningococcus, and Heptavalent Pneumococcus.
