These are all those goods that can be transferred from one space to another without altering their essence and integrity. This type of goods can be moved from one place to another without inconvenience.
This type of property, unlike real estate, is personal property that can be deposited in transportable spaces, but is not always usually carried with it. In this sense, we can include the decorative goods found in a home.
Movable property can be classified by:

These are those that can be moved or transferred by itself or by an external agent or because it is so determined by law or by the object itself to be referred to.
- For the same object referred to or by determination of the law
Included in this sense are obligations, rights, shares owned over movable property, corresponding shares or quotas in companies or commercial or civil registries despite the fact that said organizations are owners of real estate.
They are also considered movable property:
- Lifetime sales.
- The materials that are the result of a demolition of a structure or building and those that are put together for the construction of a new one.
- The decorative elements of a room, home, office, among others, such as paintings or statues.
It is important to note that, in the case of movable property, some need to be registered, such as vehicles of all kinds, whether maritime, air or land, since both the property and the person to whom it belongs must be identified.
There are other personal property that must be registered in the same way, such as purchases of works by famous artists, purchase of weapons, among others.
