Interdependence is the way in which various elements of a group or society interact together for their own good, but each with its respective roles, obligations and characteristics.
Although each entity can be considered independent, it usually requires help for certain things, in view of the reciprocity and dependence that can be generated between two or more people. The term was first used by Mahatma Gandhi in 1929 where he says that all independent men depend on other men no matter how independent they may be.
An example of this can be seen on a personal level , we have all needed someone else at some point in our lives, either because we require their help, because we cannot perform an action outside of our possibilities, etc …
The interdependence also occurs at the level political or state level. Many countries that cannot produce all the products and resources that it needs must export them from countries that produce them, as well as create strategic agreements for their benefit, whether at a political, economic or even warlike level.
