Within the nutritive process that the organism needs, carbohydrates fulfill a super important function since more than 50% of the energy that a human being needs , comes from carbohydrates rich in starch, such as legumes, cereals and pasta.

The vegetables and fruits equally are an excellent source of carbohydrates other than vitamins and minerals provide optimal and essential for the organism. That is why they must be included in a daily and balanced diet.

It is important to note that despite the fact that many think that carbohydrates are harmful to health, experts claim the opposite, being in fact harmful to the body the excess consumption of calories. Everything will depend on the lifestyle and diet that the person leads.
